What do you find most exciting about the market situation right now?
At the moment, there are challenges in the energy sector on many levels that have probably never existed to this extent before. Particularly exciting is the fact that new opportunities in the form of cooperations are developing out of volatile markets, which provide me with a varied daily work routine.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
As an extrovert, I particularly enjoy contact with suppliers, customers and colleagues.
Externally, in the form of market discussions, weekly scheduling and on-site visits to recycling facilities/power plants/material recyclers.
Internally, I particularly enjoy spending time with my colleagues at departmental and corporate events, in addition to the team-conscious exchanges that take place in the office.
What or who really surprised you in a positive way at the Brüning Group?
Our new office building in Bremen next to the river Weser and the subsequent merger of the locations in Bremen and Fischerhude.
If you could wake up tomorrow with a new professional skill, what would it be?
To be able to speak fluent French and Spanish in addition to English.
